The ratchet teeth are arrangedin a uniform, concentric pattern. The force distribution in the standard design follows a flat, block-like, ring-shaped path, with stress levels around 630 MPa. In contrast, the GOLDIX new-generation ratchet features a beveled, base-circle-guided tooth profile, directing forces along a centripetal conical path. This guidance design allows the pawl to engage the tooth slots more smoothly and precisely, resulting in faster engagement, significantly reduced free-play, and more direct power response; it also enables automatic realignment to the concentric position. During operation, the ratchet maintains stable alignment along the axis, effectively minimizing misalignment and enhancing engagement stability. With stress levels around 480 MPa—observed under a simulated 230 N·m torque load—the peak stress is reduced by approximately 32%. Under identical operating conditions, the GOLDIX new-generation ratchet offers a significantly longer service life than standard 36T flat ratchets.
