Under the same weight and tooth-count conditions, the new ratchet increases the engagement area by 38%, significantly improving load capacity and making power transmission more stable.A conventional flat ratchet uses an evenly distributed concentric block-style tooth surface. The overall force path is flat and ring-shaped, with a stress level of approximately 630 MPa.The GOLDIX new ratchet adopts a helical tooth profile guided by an oblique cut toward the base circle. The overall force path follows a conical inward direction. This guided design allows the pawls to engage the tooth slots more smoothly and precisely, resulting in faster engagement, significantly reduced free play, and more direct power response.It also features an automatic concentric return function. During riding, the ratchet can remain stable on the same axis, effectively reducing ratchet offset and improving engagement stability.The stress level is approximately 480 MPa. Under a simulated torque load of 230 N·m applied to the tooth surface, peak stress is reduced by about 32%.Under equivalent conditions, the GOLDIX new ratchet offers a significantly longer service life than a conventional 36T flat ratchet.
