This results in significantly enhanced load-bearing capacity and more stable power transmission, distinguishing it from ordinary flat-toothed ratchets by utilizing a concentric, radially balanced block distribution pattern. The overall force distribution exhibits a block-like, quasi-annular, and linear trajectory, with stress levels reaching approximately 630 MPa. In contrast, the new GOLDIX ratchet features a tooth profile with a flat surface guided by an oblique tangent to the base circle; consequently, the overall force distribution follows a conical, centripetal trajectory. This guided design enables the pawls to engage the ratchet teeth more smoothly and precisely, accelerating the engagement process, significantly reducing free travel, and ensuring a more direct power response. Furthermore, it endows the system with an automatic self-centering function, allowing the ratchet to operate stably along a consistent axis during riding, thereby effectively minimizing ratchet misalignment and enhancing engagement stability. Stress levels are approximately 480 MPa; under simulated conditions involving the application of 230 N·m of torque to the tooth surface, the peak stress was reduced by approximately 32%. Under equivalent operating conditions, the service life of the new GOLDIX ratchet is significantly longer than that of a standard 36T flat-surface ratchet.
