General   DDS238-VAP is an AC power control and metering switch for 85–300V, 50/60Hz systems. It offers selectable over-current, over-voltage, and under-voltage protection (enable any 1–3). Accuracy: 0.5% for V/I, Class 1 for energy metering. Self-consumption <0.5W. Supports manual/auto reconnection, programmable on/off delays, normal switch mode, and cycle switch mode (timer resets to 0 on power loss – no internal battery). Optional backlight. Features malignant load identification to limit resistive high-power appliances (kettles, cookers, rice cookers) – ideal for rental apartments and dorms.
