The product is toasted which lends a stronger nutty taste when eaten straight.\n\nI usually add sesame as a topping for an added texture element. These toasted versions add a crisp bite instead of the seed-like burst that good raw sesame provides. \n\nThey also add more aroma & taste to a dish. Much like adding a very small splash of sesame oil. \n\nThe product came in a resealable bag & were visibly fresh + clean.
