When sealed tightly, you will hear a click and the lock indicator will change color.To Open: Simply lift the latch on both sides with your fingers.To Clean: Lightly lift one edge of the silicone gasket from its catchment. Handwash with warm water and dish detergent; dry thoroughly before replacing.SAFETY NOTE & MAINTENANCEBefore Use: Remove labels and wash all parts thoroughly.Appliances: Glass base is safe for Freezer, Dishwasher (top rack only), Microwave, and Oven.
