The ‘STD’ characters on the right-hand side of the screen will begin to flash, indicating that you have entered the number of battery strings setting mode. Thereafter, briefly short-circuit the number of strings setting pad to the negative terminal to cycle through 1 to 6 strings. (The number displayed in the box corresponds to the number of strings.)
