Frequently Asked Questions: If the rear view camera is connected but the display shows no signal, a black screen, or no image, what steps should be taken? 1. Check the signal format: Confirm that the appropriate signal format (AHD or CVBS) is chosen according to your monitor's compatibility. 2. Inspect connections: Ensure that the red trigger wire is linked to the reverse light and the reverse-in cable on the monitor. 3. AUX-IN option: If your monitor has an AUX-IN feature, you can connect the camera to the AUX-IN port. Choosing an incorrect signal format, such as PAL or NTSC, can result in a black and white display. NTSC is utilized for CVBS cameras, while PAL is meant for AHD 1080P cameras. Ensure you select the appropriate signal format and then power cycle the camera.
