Anytone ARES II AM/FM/SSB 40W Vox 10 Meter RadioKnowledge Highlight: What is the NB/ANL Switch for? The noise blanker(NB) and automatic Noise Limiter(ANL) are used to reduce the amount of unwanted static, or interference you can get from many sources. Specifically these functions are mostly used for unwanted ignition noise, power lines, inverters, etc.Functions & FeaturesFM/AM/USB/LSB/PA ModesWeather Channel with ALERT and FM receiver 140-170MHzCTCSS/DCS,with separate settings for TX and RXTX and RX Noise Reduction (NRC)PC ProgrammableScrolling Frequency Display Function SQ,ASQ FunctionRF Gain Adjustment Microphone Gain Adjustment RF PWR AdjustmentPWR/RX RSSI Signal MeterNB/ANL FunctionFM Repeater Offset Function (+/-100kHz)+10kHz Function Beep Level Adjustment TOT FunctionHI-CUT Function Busy Channel LockTX Audio Monitor LED Brightness Adjustment SWR Readout and High SWR ProtectionVoltage ProtectionVOX Function Programmable Roger BeepEcho Function NPC Function SCAN Function Photos:Specifications:GENERALFrequency Range28.000-29.695MHz (PC Programmable)Frequency BandL/H Band: A/B/C/D/E/F.WX/VHF RX:140-170MHzChannels480 channels (40 programmable per band)Frequency ControlPhase-locked-loop SynthesizerFrequency Tolerance ±5.0ppmTemperature Range-20°cto +50°cMicrophoneWith push-to-talk [UP]/[DN] buttons and coiled cordInput Voltage13.8VDimensions (in mm)287(L)*200(W)*61(H)Weight1.5kgAntenna ConnectorUHF,SO239TransmitterPower Output AM:1-12W(adjustable)FM:1-40W(adjustable)USD/LSB:1-35W(adjustable)Current Drain8A (with modulation)ModulationFM/AM/SSBInter-modulation DistortionSSB:3rd order, more than -25dB;5th order, more than -35dBSSB Carrier Suppression55dBUnwanted Sideband50dBFrequency ResponseAM/FM:450 TO 2500HzOutput Impedance50ohms,unbalancedReceiverSensitivityAM:1.0uV FOR 10dB(S+N)/N at greater than 1/2watt of audio output.FM:1.0uV FOR 20dB(S+N)/N at greater than 1/2watt of audio output.SSB:0.25uV for 10dB(S+N)/N at greater than 1/2watt of audio outputSelectivityAM/FM:6dB @3kHz,50dB@9kHzSSB:6dB@2.1kHz,60dB@3.3kHzAdjacent-Channel Selectivity60dB AM/FM & 70dB SSBImage RejectionMore than 65dBIF FrequencyAM/FM:10.695MHz 1stIF,455kHz 2ndIF SSB:10.695MHzRF Gain Control45dB adjustableAutomatic Gain Control (AGC)Less than 10dB change in audio output for inputs from 10uV to 100,000uVSquelchAdjustable;threshold less than 0.5uV.
