KNIPEX 13 96 200 Multi-Tool Combination Pliers VDE Chrome Spring Loaded for Electrician & Electrical

The KNIPEX 13 96 200 are VDE-tested, 6-in-1 electrical installation pliers with a chrome-plated finish, insulated multi-component grips, and an integrated opening spring. This German-made tool is designed to combine multiple functions into a single, compact tool, reducing the need to carry separate pliers, strippers, cutters, and crimpers. Key functions and featuresThe KNIPEX 13 96 200 is engineered for a range of electrical installation tasks. According to the manufacturer, these are its six core functions: Gripping:Smooth jaws at the tip allow for holding single conductors without causing damage, while serrated surfaces and a grip hold flat and round materials.Bending: The jaws can be used for bending wires and cables.Deburring: A clearly defined outer edge on the jaw is made for deburring conduits and smoothing feed-through holes.Cutting: The precision, induction-hardened cutting edges can cut copper and aluminum cables up to 50 mm² / Ø 15 mm.Stripping: Dedicated stripping holes are provided for conductors in sizes 0.75–1.5 mm² and 2.5 mm².Crimping: An integrated crimp die is suitable for wire end sleeves (ferrules) from 0.5–2.5 mm². Unique characteristicsIntegrated opening spring: This model features a spring in the joint to automatically open the pliers, making repetitive tasks easier.Locking mechanism: A latching mechanism allows the user to engage a "grip" function without the pliers opening fully. This keeps the cutting edge protected and closed, and makes it possible to strip wire single-handed.VDE-tested insulation: The multi-component handles are insulated and certified to IEC 60900 standards, making the tool safe for work on or near live parts up to 1,000 volts AC.Chrome-plated finish: The polished chrome plating offers excellent rust protection.Durability: The tool is forged from high-grade special tool steel, oil-hardened in multiple stages for resilience and a long service life.
