Radon levels in basements are often twice or more higher than in libing rooms.Radon mainly comes from soil, foundation, walls, building materials, domestic water and natural gas, among which the source of soil and foundation accounts for about 80%-90%. Therefore, the radon content in the basement is often higher than the radon content in the living room.Notes:This radon detector should not be exposed to direct sunshine or placed in an environment with humidity higher than 85%RH. For accurate measurement, it should be placed 50 cm from the ground and at least 150 cm from the window/door/vent, and not moved during measurement. The longer the measurement time, the more accurate the result. 7-day measurement accuracy is 10%; measurement accuracy over 2 months is 5%. Radon is unevenly distributed in the atmosphere, so different detectors do not get the same measurements, but the differences between their long-term average are relatively small.
