I thought I spend a bit of time writing a review for people who may be interested. First, I got this because of privacy reasons. I do not want any of my recording going into the cloud like Plaud where you may be recording sensitive information. so I love the offline functions of this recorder. but a drawback of the recorder is that it is fully offline. no wifi. no Bluetooth. you have to cable it to your laptop to pull files out. doesn't seem to be able to even connect to phone, at least what I've tried. \n\noverall, the transcription is not bad. not the best but it's ok. sound capture is good. the touch screen is solid solidm beautiful colors , super responsive. it transcribes into a wave file and a word doc file. and what's cool is the marker button. when you hit it, it'll mark a time stamp on the word doc at the point which you hit the marker button. very useful for you to keep track of important notes or conversation points. \n\nlemme know if you have any questions!
