This is such a great little speaker! The speaker is very well made and feels good and premium in the hands. I'm actually surprised at how well balanced it sounds right from the box. The tone is slightly warm, the mids are quite forward and that makes for a more relaxing listen, the highs are just bright enough without piercing the ears and the lows are surprisingly adequate for something so small, even at low volumes. \n\nListen to my video sample (not the best). The volume was recorded at 1/3 on my iPhone and you can hear the quality sound. This is highly recommended and I'm compelled to buy another one to make a stereo pair. Don't buy the Marshall Willen 2, I tried that in the store. That one is pretty crap as the peak volume and sound quality is not even comparable to this ES20.
